GAC has built a "9-vertical, 10-horizontal" charging network spanning 31 provincial-level regions and 232 cities across China. It operates 2,471 proprietary stations with 30,835 chargers, alongside partnerships covering more than 180,000 stations and 1.83 million chargers. The network guarantees a station within 1 kilometer of urban cores, while steadily expanding along major expressways to cover commercial hubs, residential areas, highways, and rural townships.

On the tech front, 21,324 of GAC's 30,835 proprietary chargers are DC super-fast units — each supporting 1,000V high-voltage platforms with single-plug output exceeding 180 kW. That near-70% share signals GAC is building its network primarily around high-voltage supercharging.

GAC has since upgraded its superchargers to deliver up to 960 kW of total power, with single-plug peaks hitting 800 kW and 800 A high currents to boost efficiency. Backed by a smart cloud platform and AI integration, the system handles intelligent dispatch and automated operations — keeping charger uptime at 99.2%.

Meanwhile, HYPTEC's free-charging program spans 2,644 stations and 28,029 chargers across 333 cities, with seamless interoperability between proprietary and third-party sites.

Across its broader energy ecosystem, GAC is pressing ahead with integrated solar-storage-charging-swapping hubs and has launched a V2G microgrid pilot. The project delivers 3.72 MW of discharge power, averaging 12,000 kWh daily and peaking above 20,000 kWh. It now runs routinely under standard discharge protocols.
