The updated Zeekr 7X was seen in China ahead of launch. It will enter the domestic market shortly with an 85 kWh battery, new exterior color options, and an enhanced interior with upgraded equipment to rival the Tesla Model Y, the Li Auto i6, and the Xiaomi YU7.
The updated 2027 model year Zeekr 7X electric crossover was first teased for China in early September. The brand’s officials shared that this model will enter the market in Q4 2026 with an 85 kWh battery. According to China EV DataTracker, Zeekr handed over 44,871 units of this SUV to owners across China from January to September 2026, down 2.7% Year-Over-Year.

On November 3, the updated Zeekr 7X crossover was seen in China, arriving at dealers for display. The exterior of the 2027 model year car remained largely the same. However, this vehicle added two new body shades: purple and golden. It still uses the Zeekr Stargate interactive display in the front, hidden door handles, and two thin taillight stripes.
The interior of the updated Zeekr 7X adopts the dual “zero-gravity” function for the driver’s and the front passenger’s seats. The front chairs adopt power leg rests and new upholstery. Other improvements of the updated 7X include the Zeekr OS 7.5 infotainment system and a new center control hub. This SUV adopts the CDC electromagnetic damping system and the mentioned 85 kWh battery.

Zeekr officials previously shared that the updated 7X’s battery has a lifespan of 1,000,000 km of range and 3,500 charging cycles. No other information about the car’s specs was officially shared.
However, it previously applied for a sales license in China with a 370 kW (496 hp) electric motor. The 7X boasts hefty dimensions of 4825/1930/1666 mm with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm.
It seems that the 4WD version of the updated 7X will keep a 103 kWh ternary NMC battery and two e-motors for 585 kW (784 hp).
The current Chinese-market Zeekr 7X starts at 229,800 yuan (32,250 USD) for the 75 kWh Max and reaches 269,800 yuan (37,860 USD) for the 103 kWh Ultra. The incoming 85 kWh version is expected to cost around 239,800 yuan (33,650 USD).
The global Zeekr 7X
It is worth noting that the Zeekr 7X was recently updated in Europe. This model sits on the 800V architecture and offers a peak power output of 335 kW (449 hp), suitable for acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
The e-motor is paired with a 75 kWh LFP battery, providing 482 km of autonomy under WLTP conditions. There is also a Long Range version with a larger 100 kWh ternary NMC pack for 627 km of range.
The AWD variant of the updated Zeekr 7X for Europe boasts a 40 hp power boost. Its peak power reaches 500 kW (670 hp). This version speeds up to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. It is 0.1 seconds faster than the outgoing Zeekr 7X with 470 kW (630 hp) offered. The refreshed model offers 545 km of WLTP autonomy. It could be charged from 10% to 80% in 15 minutes.
